The result is Biollante, an eerie plant of titanic proportions. To make matters worse, a psychic woman detects Godzilla stirring from his volcanic prison. A samurai lord of a once peaceful village is murdered by one of his own men who then claims the throne. In order to keep this power the murderer must eliminate his heirs, forcing the lord's two small children to flee into the woods, where they conceal themselves near the huge stone statue of Daimajin, the god of their village.
