Renewing the mind is one of the essential components for putting on our new identity in Christ. The sense of that identity makes us capable of functioning in it and in all the victories we share with Christ. Renewing the mind is not just learning new information. It is about learning how to think, how to bring all the pieces together, so we understand. An essential part of putting on the mind of Christ is the willingness to interpret everything we believe in light of absolute truth. This week I want to share the absolute truth about satan. It might change everything you believe about him, and it might eradicate everything that makes you fear him!

If someone asked you, “Where do you stand in your view of the devil?” what would be your answer? Or if someone asked, “Are all of your views about Satan based on the New Covenant, or is it a mixture of Old and New Covenant?” how would you reply? Most of us don’t really know where we stand with the devil, as it pertains to our beliefs. Too often it’s a mixture of Old and New Covenant beliefs, a hodgepodge of scripture and superstition. We all find ourselves being pulled in a certain direction or toward certain emotions, temptations, or struggles. Or perhaps we just can’t understand the unseen power that holds us or pulls us in these destructive directions. There is nothing worse than getting in a “stuck state,” i.e. one of those places that you just can’t seem to move beyond! Most of the limitations in our life are a product of our self-perception. There are four primary sources of self-perception: how others view us, our personal performance, how God views us. The fourth source is the most destructive because it is a complete illusion, but it is the source upon which most rely: what I think you think about me! Join me this week and free yourself from the opinions of others and move yourself to the only reliable source of self-perception: what God thinks of me! This simple paradigm shift will free you from the control of others. It will bring you to a freedom in life that you may have never imagined!

How many times have you found yourself stuck in your relationship or some other area of life and simply could not find the answers you needed to move forward? In these times we desperately seek God to give us an answer. Too often we feel that He is not hearing and responding to our prayers, but little do we know that He has heard and answered. We don’t need for God to tell us something new; we need revelation knowledge about what He has given us in Christ. Join me this week and discover how simple it is to receive revelation knowledge! God has a picture of you in His heart: it’s you looking, living, and functioning just like Jesus! God has given us His Spirit to lead us in this path; He has given us His grace to empower us in this reality; and He sent Jesus to make it all possible. This is a reality that exists in Jesus - it is legally ours, but it is not automatic. It is a path we must choose. When we choose this path, this life, the reality that God sees, our eyes open and we begin to see as God sees. God gave His glory to Jesus to manifest here on earth so the world could see Him as He is. Jesus gave His glory to His disciples so they could continue to manifest the true character and nature of God to the world. The church is looking for the glory of God to manifest in some mystical, supernatural manner; the world is looking for the glory of God in us. Join me this week and discover the simple truth of manifesting the glory of God. He wants to manifest in and through you in ways you haven’t yet imagined!

We all manifest some form of glory: the glory of God or the glory of self. Every decision we make, every way we treat others, everything we do manifests one of these forms of glory! It all starts by knowing and recognizing the difference between my glory and His glory, and making the appropriate choice!

We all know we have limitations. Unfortunately, we have made those limitations seem so mystical and spiritual that we seldom find God’s simple, non-condemning process for moving past them. I want to help you understand the source of your greatest limitations and how to move past them quickly and easily. Now that all the holidays are behind us it’s time to turn our attention to the upcoming year. Jesus wants us to live life at its best. When our lives are overflowing with the good things of God we are free to make our lives count; we have the emotional freedom and energy to live for a cause greater than ourselves. Every year there are people who condemn those who celebrate Christmas. Learning how to deal with these criticisms has a larger lesson than one realizes. Conflict between Christians often happens when people value something that others do not. Rather than allowing people the freedom to follow the Word of God according to their own conscience, we try to force others to believe what we believe.
