There hasn't been any mention that the catalyst for the protests in France has been the proposed increase in carbon tax for diesel and gasoline.  Why are media outlets brushing over this point?

After listening to the constant traffic accident reports its not hard to think that a lot of these accidents could be mitigated if the provincial government wasn't dragging its feet when it came to ridesharing in BC.  But the taxi lobby cash flow has the NDP seeing red lights wherever it can.

France has been involved in the worst riots in 50 years over the carbon tax on gasoline.  Over 30 thousand took to the streets to protest the tax and there have been injuries and even deaths.  So why aren't we hearing anything from the progressives about how Canada should be more like Progressive Europe.

I asked a group of people who work in charities if fundraising is easier in a strong or weak economy. Not surprisingly they said "strong" but what is a head scratcher is they then turnaround and support policies that hurt economic growth.

It's our turn as individuals to help support via community programs like Pledge Day on CKNW in Vancouver, on CHQR in Calgary, and Santa Anonymous on CHED in Edmonton and CHNL in the Thompson Okanagan. Let's work together!

Don't let the fact the the government is giving away $600 Million to media outlets that meet their criteria slip by too quickly.

There is one thing anti pipeline opponents and the Federal Government don't like and thats a scorecard.

The ultimate "ace in the hole" for keeping the status quo is our collective ignorance of economics and finance.

There isn't a problem with people who want to change the voting system in BC to proportional representation, But when you compare the system to that in other countries without understanding what is happening in those countries...it's hard to take.

General motors is cutting 15% of its general workforce and the GM plant in Oshawa is going to be 1 of 5 factories shut down in North America.  As if on cue, politicians have come out decrying the decision and vowing to take action.

It's a battle between patient care and the government.  The BC supreme court ruled against the NDP government in their injuction against private clinics.

It's another record month of transporting oil by rail with no slow down in sight.  It's also reported that the demand for oil will increase over the next 20 years.

Everytime there is a fiscal update there is a lot of ideological talk about tax fairness.  Despite what economists will tell you is fair, politicians always go for votes over the fair and responsible solutions.

Can you rationalize the money spent by the government on Canadian Media?  The government says that it's to help keep media honest and curb fake news from surfacing widely in Canada.  But will it work?

When it comes to climate change, some activists goals are to shut down discussion instead of having a debate or any real dialogue on how to balance the business of environmental protection alongside economic development.

Each Canadian has a long list of priorities for government spending, but giving money to the media is probably not on the list.

It seems everyday that small business in Canada is on the losing end.  Higher taxes, new taxes, minimum wage increases, it's getting harder and harder to be a small business owner in Canada.

There should be more concern and outrage over the amount of money the government wastes, that you the taxpayer earns!  Remember, Government money is YOUR MONEY, and there is far too little oversight when it comes to government spending.

It's shocking to hear the reason that Premier John Horgan want's to change the First Past the Post system in BC.  When the "yes" side talks about European countries that have Proportional Representaion, they need to look at the full picture.

Make no mistake, the events that led to a Montana court putting a hold on the Keystone XL pipeline is a strategy designed by interest groups in the US to keep Alberta’s Oil at a discount to America.  Canada is estimated to be losing billions of dollars because of the delay in the pipeline.
