The Dudes wear pink wigs and yellow camo in 2003's Lost in Translation. Sofia Coppola's film about two lonely souls struggling with who they are and where they are in life is a refreshing and unique take on the romance genre. Scarlett Johansson is wise beyond her years and Bill Murray gives an Oscar deserving performance as basically himself. The Dudes make a desert of their home and yours with 1968's Planet Of The Apes.  For cultural impact, there are few films more important than Franklin J. The Dudes discover the dark side of suburbia with 1986's Blue Velvet. If you've never experienced David Lynch, this is the place to start. It's got all the hallmarks: thrilling mystery, unsettling characters, and psycho-sexual encounters with people you probably shouldn't be involved with. Throw in an off-the-rails Dennis Hopper, and you've got a masterpiece. The Dudes learn the best way to get to know somebody is to kidnap them, in 1965's The Collector! In William Wyler's final film, a lonely man kidnaps a woman because he wants her to love him. Of course, that's not how it works. Terror ensues, along with confusion, and Stockholm syndrome. Unfortunately, this movie proves that incels existed long before the internet. Dudes On Demand 2025 concludes as The Dudes brawl with Canadian tourists and look at Messianic blood with 2008's In Bruges.  Like Goofus and Gallant, Ray's and Ken's life choices often contrast in a way that makes outsiders feel one man is better than the other.  And this is correct.  But every life has value, and though this movie contains a lot of death, it also celebrates life like few other films about career criminals would even attempt.
