Bruce Vilanch is an American comedy writer, songwriter, and actor, best known for writing the Oscar Awards ceremony between 1989 and 2014. Born in New York City and raised in New Jersey, Bruce had theatrical aspirations ever since he was a kid. He began working as a child model when he was little kid and acted in many theatrical productions as an actor, upon growing up. He began his writing career in the mid-1970s when he began writing articles for the entertainment section of The Chicago Tribune. During the early phase of his career, he worked with popular singer named Bette Midler, writing for her Broadway show titled ‘Clams on the Half Shell’ and ‘Divine Madness.’ In 1980, he also began writing articles for the LGBT-interest magazine titled ‘The Advocate’ and he serves as a writer for the magazine to this day. Dianne began her career as choir director and accompanist at Battle Creek Central High School in Michigan but soon recorded with Atlantic Records, ABC RECORDS. Her rendition of the Beatles classic Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds with Stargard is pure classic and her performances throughout the film are absolutely memorable and truly standout. Dianne also talks about growing up in a musical family and how that influenced her career.

Marc talks about his days growing up in Pittsburgh and some of the people he has worked with over the years in TV and Movies. Marc Sheffler used to work as a stage actor for off-Broadway theater. His only film role is of the teenage Junior Stillo in the low-budget Last House on the Left (1972). Since then, Sheffler decided to pursue a career in television writing and production rather than acting. His credits include episodes of "Sister, Sister", "Harry and the Hendersons", "Who's the Boss", and "Charles in Charge" to name but a few. He's also been involved with all kinds of pilots, made for TV movies, and television specials, including the, failed "The Little Shop of Horrors" pilot, "The Happy Days Reunion Show" and "The Best of the Hollywood Palace" specials. He also worked with Mel Blanc, the voice of Warner Bros. cartoons, as the writer of How Bugs Bunny Won The West (1978).

    On this episode of 1 on 1 with Bill Alexander, Bill talks with form Pennsylvania State Representative and Community Activist Movita Johnson-Harrell. On January 13, 2011, Movita’s youngest of four children, Charles Andre Johnson, 18 years old, was shot and killed in a case of mistaken identity. Philadelphia police found that Charles was killed by two young men 23 and 25 years old with previous arrest records. In January of 2018, Movita was appointed Supervisor of Victim/Witness Services and Restorative Justice at the. Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office by District Attorney Lawrence Krasner, becoming the first Muslim woman appointed to a supervisory law enforcement position in the city of Philadelphia. Movita created the Philadelphia CARES Model that brought $1.6 million dollars and 15 jobs to the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office to support co-victims of homicide and prevent retaliation. On March 12th, 2019, Movita won the special election for State Representative for the 190th legislative district
