Easter Sunday Jesus is Calling Your Name We all have hope that the Easter story is true. Jesus spoke Mary's name and her doubt was removed. Something remarkable happened in Mary's life. Jesus is calling our name, too.

You are God's handiwork. We are created for greatness. Greatness comes from God, not us. We become God's handiwork when Christ lives in us and we engage in acts of service in his name.

Follow where God Leads. God speaks and we obey. Our timetable may not be God's timetable. God's purposes are grander than we can envision. It is in trusting God that we find our greatest fulfillment.

God's love gives strength in hard times. God has made a covenant with us. It's good to remember God's covenant when the storm clouds are rising. The rainbow and cross tell us that God has not forgotten us.

God's love is universal. Jonah ran from God. Jonah finally, histantly, relented to God's will. Jonah became angry with God because the Ninevites repented. The lesson is that God's love is universal.

The paralytic let down through the roof. If your friends are people of faith you are fortunate. Christ gives us victory over sin and guilt.

Joy is a primary characteristic of a Christian. We need to cultivate a sense of God's Presence with us always. We should develop a sense of gratitude in our lives.

John the Baptist John was to prepare the way for the coming of Christ. John's message was one of righteousness and justice. We need to repent of our sins.
