The newly hired coach of the Blue Jackets, Brad Larsen, joined the show as we gave him a warm 614 welcome. We asked Brad about about what it's been like taking over as head coach, as Brad is an in-house hire for the team & was in charge of the Power Play for the Jackets last year. We also had a few laughs with Brad & got to know him a little better with a pop quiz.

Author & military veteran, Don Bentley, joined the show to promote his new book "Target Acquired" as Don has taken the lead on the Tom Clancy universe of 'Jack Ryan' & now 'Jack Ryan Jr.'

The one & only Clyde "The Glide" Drexler joined the show to promote the new season of 'BIG 3' basketball coming up on July 10th. Clyde is the commissioner of the league & we talked to him about the try-out process for the teams as well as asked him about his days at the University of Houston with "Phi Slamma Jamma" and his days in the NBA after winning the dunk contest.

Gene Smith, the Athletic Director at THE Ohio State University, joined the show to talk about his new contract he has signed with the University for the foreseeable future as well as touched on the new bill from the state that would allow college athletes here in Ohio to get compensated for their name, image & likeness.

Rock legend, Dennis DeYoung, joined the show to promote pt.2 of his concept album coming out & the album will be his final album released. Dennis talked to us about the circumstances on making the album & gave us his take on a possible Styx farewell reunion.

The co-owner of Meyer-Shank Racing, Mike Shank, joined the show again after his team won the Indianapolis 500 with his team racer, Helio Castronevas, won his record-tying 4th Indy 500, & Mike talked to us about the awesome aftermath of his team celebrating the win.

Former Buckeye & current NFL Player, Nate Ebner, joined the show to promote his new book "Finish Strong" highlighting his unbelievable story about his fathers tragic passing & his long career from being a walk-on at Ohio State having never played football to being an NFL starter.

We talked to Columbus native & co-owner of the Meyer-Shank racing team, Mike Shank. Mike talked to us about the star-studded racing team he has put together & gave us his take on the whole weekend of racing ahead as well his relationship with fellow Central Ohio racer, Graham Rahal.

The new President of Hockey Operations for the Blue Jackets, John Davidson, is back in Columbus after signing a deal with the CBJ. We talked to John about the expectations for the team heading into the off season, what drove him to come back to Columbus & what the teams priorities are heading into the draft and new contracts on the line.

We talked to Billy F Gibbons of ZZ Top, who is now coming out with his own solo album, 'Hardware', coming out June 4th. Billy talked to us about the origins of the album and how it pulled from a multitude of different sounds as well as what we can expect for a ZZ Top reunion tour.

With all the new guidelines from the CDC concerning the coronavirus coming out, we caught up with Dr. Joseph Gastaldo from Ohio Health to get his take on all of the new guidelines. Dr. Gastaldo also talked to us about the immunity stages for folks who have been infected already with natural anti-bodies vs the folks who have been vaccinated.

The Brat Pack member, Andrew McCarthy, joined the show to promote his new book "Brat, An 80's Story" highlighting his time in the 80's as a member of the young clique & he talked about how he approached some of his most iconic roles throughout his career.

The bassists of Cheap Trick, Tom Petersson, joined the show to promote the new album "In Another World". Cheap Trick is also performing at RiverBend music center in Cincinnati this summer & Tom talked to us about the group getting back on the road again.

He's the iconic rapper & actor as well as the founder & head of the BIG 3 basketball league, it's our buddy Ice Cube. Cube joined the show to promote his new season of "Big 3" basketball, covered some of the nuisances of the league & rules and also told some stories of some of the coolest celebs he's worked with over his career.

Rock & Roll author, Joel Selvin, joined the show to promote his new book, "Hollywood Eden". Joel talked to us about the long lasting influence of the beach era of rock & roll and how the movement in the 50's & 60's made ripples across the country of music moving forward and how counter culture impacted the industry. Joel covers music talents such as The Beach Boys, Elvis, etc.

We talked to the legendary rocker, Tommy Shaw, about the new album release coming out June 18th as well as the title track of the album "Crash of the Crown". Tommy shared with us some of the work that went into making the album & talked about how he has kept his voice in good shape despite the many years of rocking out year-round.
