    16/11/2020 Duración: 06min

Today's Talk Therapy episode was sparked when my daughter's 14th birthday got me reflecting on what I might've told my younger self. God reminded me of a blog post I had written years ago as a letter to my 15-year-old self. Consider taking some time this week to write a letter to yourself and see what God reveals to you. Questions to reflect on this week: What would you tell your younger self? What advice would you give her? What did she worry about that you realize didn’t matter? Does your current self need to hear this message too? Don't forget to download my Biblical Body Image Coloring Book! Connect with Rachael on her website, Instagram and/or Facebook.

  • Talk Therapy: A Simple Tool for Anxiety

    26/10/2020 Duración: 09min

In this episode of Talk Therapy, I'm sharing a simple tool for anxiety (specifically panic attacks) called square breathing. We all experience anxiety on different levels. Some are able to cope, while others are more susceptible to overwhelm. By learning how to recognize the signs of anxiety in our bodies, we can better practice relaxation techniques or, if necessary, choose the most beneficial kind of therapy.  Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Connect with Rachael on the website, Instagram and/or Facebook.

We can help support our pastors by praying for them and focusing on unity. Pastors are not superhuman, they need as much support as the rest of us. • Talk Therapy: God's Favor

    28/09/2020 Duración: 06min

To have the Lord's favor is to be in accord with Him. Proverbs 16:7, "When the Lord takes pleasure in anyone’s way, he causes their enemies to make peace with them."
