Jack Cerchiara joins us this week on NYSEA. He is the head coach for the university of Washington lacrosse program. We hung out and discussed the rise of lacrosse in the state of Washington. How the game can keep growing and what kind of struggles come with being a club team on the College and High School level. What does a college coach like in his lacrosse program? Coach likes Multi-sport athletes, leadership, accountability, etc. What does a high school student need to do to get better? We discuss it. James "Boobie" Miles who called in from Texas discussed the book, the movie, his career, and what he is up to today. Miles stressed the importance of education as the fundamental lesson he teaches young athletes he mentors today. Miles discussed football in all its aspects including football in Texas and what makes Friday Nights special. He also shared who his pro team is in Texas and who he roots for on Saturday.
