Following Jesus is costly, but the rewards that follow are priceless. When we submit our lives to Christ and walk in obedience, we will experience moments of opposition. But Jesus is worth following, and when we obey Him, the Holy Spirit will enable the perfect peace that passes understanding to flow freely through us. Like Jesus’ disciples, we are a people God has SENT, or commissioned and equipped, to share the Good News with the people around us. We are the Church, a movement of people called to operate in the same power that Jesus did—to be His witnesses wherever we go.
