Really just a bunch of navel-gazing, but that’s nothing new, is it? Join me on another nature walk when it’s almost springlike for a change, and listen to me play a new instrument - badly. Thanks to the Scarborough Dude for making me want to talk about myself even more than usual. Today’s music selection was “Quintet in B minor for clarinet and strings, Op. 115” performed by Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.

It really was a toss up between naming this one “Saskamanitobia” and “Religious Sects and Chunks”. I hope I made the right choice. A great visit with the kids, and some rambly ramblings from moi. Today’s excellent musical selection was: “Where is that clock” by Mary, Will and Dave circa 2005 and “Bad Things” by Rayland Baxter.

Hockey aside, I’d like to thank Sweden for the cool new lamp and end tables for under 50 bucks all in. Music today was “The Darkest Side” by The Middle East. The Ed and Ethel skit was inspired by real events involving parents who were in no way that maniacal about the mints, though they were tasty.

This one’s for Mary. Frying up some Chub Creek lovin. Okay really it’s a lot of whining about how ill I was recently. Music was “Forget the Past” by The Irrepressibles. Enjoy.

Just thought I’d say hello. Music today is just me playing with a cool new iPad app (yes I finally got one, the iPad Air, more on that on a later episode) called “Scape” by Brian Eno. It’s so much fun to mess around with. Happy birthdays to my Dad and my Son.

An extra long one today. Join me as I try to assemble wise words on the road, then later meet up with Gary for a long (LONG) hike at Algonquin Park. Yikes it’s August already. That means it’s Fall soon, which is actually pretty awesome, so never mind. Anyway that has nothing to do with this episode, which is really just me driving around in the new Honda. That’s Precious right there in the photo, (if you’re visiting the website) parked by the old barn at Chub Creek. Today’s music was “Leave it Out” by Cursor Minor.

Bug infested walkage at Forks of the Credit Provincial park. Actually it wasn’t that bad, I just made the mistake of reading all about the worst kinds of stinging bugs right before leaving. (Read about the Tarantula Hawk and other horrible stinging bugs here). A bit of yabber about public speaking, some more yammer about how my dog’s tongue reminds me of my first girlfriend... and more.
