Jesus was tired and thirsty after His journey from Judea to Samaria. He needed a physical drink. The Samaritan woman that He met at the well was tired and thirsty. She needed a spiritual drink as well as a physical drink. Would she have the faith to drink the living water?

In order for Jesus Christ to increase in one's life, one's sense of self-importance must decrease. When a Christian believer better recognizes her or his rich blessings from God by virtue of faith in Jesus Christ, the Spirit causes the majesty and glory of Christ to shine more brilliantly through the believers' life.

Dr. John Piper says, "God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him." Does this describe your life? Are you up for the "3:30" Challenge?

Demonstrating the Gospel Impulse - that is, moving toward the one who needs God's message of love and forgiveness by faith in Jesus Christ - shares in the character of God, because that is what He did for us. So, turn on the Light of the Gospel and reveal the glory of God in Christ Jesus through the Holy Spirit!

Jesus Christ removes obstacles to true worship. And then He shows His followers how to live daily in that attitude of worship. Does your work display your Christian faith? Do your friendships point people to Jesus? Have you demonstrated the joy of the Lord Jesus as your strength, even in the midst of the chaos of living life in this broken world? Our hope is in Jesus Christ.

In the worship services of Christian churches today one has the opportunity to "see" Jesus in the Communion Service (the Lord's Supper) and in the act of Baptism. What are you seeking in your life? God's promises are fulfilled in Jesus Christ and are applied to one's personal life through trusting faith. Come and see Jesus.

Disciples hear Jesus and follow Him. When this happens, they are responding to God's "Gospel Impulse", and often they reach out to others with the same impulse. Do you profess faith in Jesus Christ? Is it a living faith?

What is God doing and how can we join Him? That is really the "Big Ask" of working through any change or transition in life. As we share about the pastoral transition here at Chandler Bible Church, these principles will become clear as to how they apply to all of our transitions in life.

John the Baptizer said that Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world. Who do you say that Jesus is? What are you doing about it?

What does it take to work together well as a team? The Apostle Paul knew that he was not alone when it came to sharing the Good News about Jesus Christ with his world. He was connected - and relied upon - others who were in the work with him. This is what a local church is for Christian believers today. Are you part of a local church team?

When everything looks overwhelming or like it is heading for disaster, consider God's amazing grace. His Truth makes all the difference and His perspective will guide us home.

When a person is trusting in Jesus Christ by faith, it changes him or her. In fact, it could be described as wearing a designer name brand of clothing. The condition of one's heart is reflected through one's life. God is in the fashion business. What is the fashion of your heart?
