Invite Jesus to the Party - Audio
10/04/2016 Duración: 2657h00sJesus, when he was here on earth, had a mission. He made disciples so that they could continue to make more disciples. We, who follow Jesus, therefore should be “Getting Out There” to share about Jesus to others. For us to be effective, we should invite Jesus to come too. From John 2:1-11, when we invite Jesus to the party: 1. When problems or challenges happen, we can bring them to Jesus. (v. 3) 2. When Jesus is actively working, he will use us to serve alongside him in the work. (v. 7) 3. When Jesus shows his power and glory, we will enjoy that transformational power in us too. (v. 9-11) “[The master of the banquet] said, ‘You have saved the best till now.’” (John 2: 11)

You become like the people you are closest to so choose your friends wisely. “Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.” Proverbs 13:20 “The righteous choose their friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.” Proverbs 12:26 Life is hard; you need the strength that only good friends can provide. “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
