Living with Integrity We all have places in our walk with God where we know and say one thing but do another. We all have inconsistencies, and these inconsistencies if ignored, have tremendous power to ruin our lives. A question we must ask that will save us from wasted life and regret: • Is there any part of my life that is ____________ with my _____?

Introduction: Do you find your spiritual life lacking joy? Do you feel the daily grind of trying to be a “good Christian”? Is your faith stagnant and not going anywhere? You might be suffering a disease called Legalism. Grace cures us of this. Grace revives us. Our society loves to idolize celebrities for their good looks, for their fame and fortune. Sports figures get adulation from fans for being winners, especially MVP’s. Sadly this behavior can creep over into the church. We like certain Christian leaders and preachers for the same reasons we like rock stars. We are influenced by the externals as opposed to more importantly what is in their hearts. Jesus faced this same problem when he made his triumphant entry into Jerusalem. He was not everyone’s idea of a King. Yet he was truly Israel’s MVP. Like the crowd, do you ever wish Jesus was a different kind of King? If you choose to make Jesus your MVP, he will help you live a fruitful and fulfilled life as God intended. Jesus as Most Valuable Player as seen in Matthew 21:1-11, 1.
