Theme: God’s faithfulness to us. God’s relationship to us is compared to a groom and his bride. Some have gone through hardships, like Israel, and feel abandoned and desolate In those experiences, we can find that God is always with us.

Theme: Jesus’ Baptism At Jesus’ baptism the Holy Spirit alighted on him as a dove. Christ was baptized by his cousin John. Though Jesus brought grace, he did not repudiate John’s message of judgment. Baptism is a rite of passage to a new life. Jesus was baptized as a sign of God’s grace.

Theme: Epiphany (Following the Light of Christ) The coming of light implies that the world was in darkness. The message of Epiphany is that light has come into our world. You and I need to let our little lights shine.

Theme: Adolescent Jesus in the Temple Most think parents don’t understand us. Jesus’ family didn’t understand him. Jesus’ family was committed to him and he knew it Jesus’ family was held together by mutual respect and love.

Birth of Christ Christmas began in the heart of God. Christmas is about Hope Christmas is the best news the world could receive

The Family of God Christmas is an act of God God acted in the only way God could act God Told us who we are---His family

Turning the worls upside down. Jesus came to turn the world right-side up. Jesus gives dignity to those the world ignores. Jesus gives hope to hopeless and love to loveless.

Theme: Kingdom of God Main Points: Christ’s Kingdom is about how you live, not where. Citizenship in Christ’s Kingdom depends on where you place your allegiance. Citizenship in Christ’s Kingdom depends on who you worship

Theme: Thanksgiving Main Points: Thanksgiving can be a superficial holiday. Thanksgiving is about seeing life as a gift.

Theme: Servanthood Main Points: We all want to be number 1 The Desire to be number 1 has driven people to succeed To really be Number one we must serve God and Neighbor

Theme: Love God and Neighbor Main Points: We should be aware of people in need. We must find the hurting and go to them. When we perform an act of love, we glorify Christ.

Theme: Encouraging each other to good works. Main Points: The Church should encourage one another to love and good works. Kindness is Contagious and has deep impact Christ set the example of love and kindness for us

God in Christ Main Points: God is Approachable God is Merciful We have access to God through Christ.

Compassion for the Poor. When dealing with the poor the ways of Christ clash with the ways of the world. Our closemess to God is relfected in how we treat the poor. The Mark of Discipleship is to be kind to all.

Theme: Sin Main Points: We should take sin seriously. Sin always hurts people. Actions have consequences. Christ came to save us from our sins.

Theme: Church Main Points: Church commits to authentic community Church gives God wholehearted worship Church takes spiritual growth seriously Church invests in positive priorities Church invites others to join them. Church is where we are adopted into the family of God.

Back to Church Sunday There are a lot of benefits to coming to church. People who meet Jesus want to introduce him to those they care about. People who meet Jesus want to introduce him to those who don't care about them. People who meet Jesus want to introduce him even to their enemies.
