How does God like his praise?

The Christian faith is a universal faith. God comes to us just as we are. That is the meaning of the incarnation.

The disciples prayed to receive God's power. They prayed to receive God's presence. They prayed that they would stay centered in God's purpose.

The disciples were to wait for the gift of God's Holy Spirit. The process of waiting prepared them for what was to come. We are to share the Gift of the Spirit that has come to us?

Something within us draws us toward bad choices. We are drawn to bad choices because of our sinful nature. Choosing Christ helps us make better choices. We must make our faith the most important in our lives.

These words about love are directed at the community of faith. Love is the glorious burden of the Christian. For the world, love is the exception, not the rule. For Christians, love is to be the rule...no exceptions. Because we are loved by one who makes no exceptions.

Disillusionment comes from misunderstanding and there's much that we don't understand. Thomas did not drop out of the fellowship. In the fellowship of Faith, Christ appears to Thomas.

We know the Resurrection is real through eye witness accounts. All creation testifies to the Resurrection. The Holy Spirit testifies to the Resurrection.

Life is filled with Celebration and sadness. The tragedy of the Cross happened to the Son of God. Would it be any different today? The Cross reveals the evil of humanity and the love of God.

Jesus could not ask his disciples to pay a greater price than he was willing to pay. Without the cross you and I could not see the destructiveness of sin. There was no other way for God to show the depth of His love.

Is is thrilling to meet someone genuinely committed to Christ. What are you truly committed to? We'll probably never be asked to die for Christ, but we are asked to live for Christ.

The most effective messengers of the Gospel are real people who have had their lives transformed. This applies not only to celebrity Christians but also to Super Saints. Jesus wants ordinary people with transformed lives to share their faith.

The first casualty of Adam and Eve's sin is loss of innocence and intimacy. Ignoring God's command changed everything in Adam and Eve's life. The Garden in Revelation tells us that there will no longer be any curse.

Wise people build their lives on a solid foundation. You find this foundation in the teachings of Christ. You build a strong foundation when you put Christ's teachings into practice. All of society depends on people who put Christ's teachings into practice.

Many have a susceptibility to worry built into our personalities. Modern life has many built-in stresstors. The best cure for worry and stress is to trust God completely.
