This week’s show featured Omaha Fire Captain Nicholas Lemek promoting recruiting opportunities for the department, ICAN’s vice president of strategic partnerships Julie Burrell Lillig discussing their annual women’s leadership conference, and Sports for Kids’ Al Vacanti inviting the public to their annual fundraiser for children and families in-need.

This week’s show featured Keep Kids Alive Drive 25 executive director and founder Tom Everson discussing the history of this organization that exists to remind drivers to be safe, particularly in residential neighborhoods.

This week’s show featured Heartland Family Service chief development officer Theresa Cassady promoting their gala fundraiser to further their multifaceted mission of assisting those in need of mental health, housing support, trafficking and other services. Then, Outlook Enrichment executive director Nina Rongisch discussed the work they to do assist the blind and visually impaired.  Finally, author Jamie Holmes talked about the history of partnership that existed between Native Americans and formerly enslaved black families.

This week’s show featured Big Grove For Good Foundation executive director Mikala Demet inviting local nonprofits to apply for their annual grants, The Wellbeing Partners director of strategic operations Lori Thomas promoting their annual Trek Up the Tower event, and Nebraska first district representative Mike Flood talking about healthcare and housing.

This week’s show featured Omaha Police Officers Brittany Stenzel and DaShawn Haynes discussing the work they do and job opportunities to join the force.  Then, Mallory talked about how Sheepgate saved her from a life of drug and alcohol addiction.

This is an abbreviated show because of special coverage of President Trump's press conference regarding the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. We will return to normal time next week.
