We often find ourselves trying to stay within our comfort zones. This week, we discuss how the Apostles exemplified the saying, 'If you want the glory of the Gospel, you must be comfortable with the grievances of the Gospel.

Today’s culture has migrated to outrage and picking a “side”. That is not the heart of our Heavenly Father. This Father’s Day, Pastor John talks about how our Father commands us to not declare something unclean that He has made clean, including ourselves.

Persecution is depicted in the Bible as a catalyst to spreading the Gospel, as the apostles and early Christians endured suffering with unwavering faith, turning trials into opportunities to witness for Christ. We are the hands and feet of Jesus. We are al called to serving in the body of Christ no matter how small the contribution may be. This week, we talk about how the early church found those within their own gathering to help with tasks needing to be done. You too, are called to service with our God given talents. What might that look like for you?

This week we talk about how the early Christians devoted themselves to teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, prayer, and forming a loving and generous community that met everyone's needs. How might our lives be transformed for the better if we followed the early church’s example?

Acts Of The Apostles Jesus promised that it would be better for the disciples when He left. That sounds crazy but it’s true. In this series on the book of Acts we see how the Church was born and what impact it has on our lives. How could it be better if Jesus left? Jesus told the disciples when he left the Father would send the Holy Spirit who would teach us all things and remind us of everything that Jesus said to us. This week, Pastor John talks about hearing from the Holy Spirit.

This Mother’s Day, we talk about how the hardest situations we can encounter can be overcome with relying on the power of the Holy Spirit. Too often we rely on our own strength and put more pressure on ourselves than is necessary.

This week in our exploration of Luke, Jesus invites us to release our grip on worldly possessions and fully commit to following Him. His desire is for us to trade materialism for a life focused on spiritual fulfillment and the everlasting kingdom of God.

Temptation can be as small as something that is not a sin, but has the ability to carry us away from God’s will for our lives. This week, Pastor John continues with our journey through Luke where Jesus faed temptation after 40 days in the wilderness and how that relates to our lives today.

Luke does an amazing job of investigating the life of Jesus. In this introduction we learn why he embarked on this journey and what the implications are of Jesus coming to us at a specific time in history.
