    Tom's guest on the Breakfast Show this morning was Luxembourgish singer-songrwriter Hannah Ida who has just released a new track entitled "J'aime" Hannah is currently based between Vienna and Luxembourg and she told Tom that this new song was started while she was in isolation in Vienna with Covid. The song deals with the issues of negative feelings around body image and in creating the song, Hannah reached out to her friends to send her recordings of their own feelings about body image. The clips can be heard in the background of the song layered over Hannah's vocals. Writing the song was an emotional and cathartic experience for Hannah and her friends that she says helped her feel better. You can now find the song on all streaming platforms.

Students will be running around the Geeseknäppchen in Merl alongside Pedro De Sousa who will be running continuously for 24 hours whilst fundraising to support the NGO Athénée - Action Humanitaire. Mr. Pedro De Sousa will begin running at 10am on Thursday, 23rd March 2023 on the running tracks of Boulevard Pierre Dupong in Merl.     An exhibition entitled Edward Steichen - The Artist’s view is currently on display at the national museum of history and art (MNHA). The exhibition brings together Dutch photographer Erwin Olaf and Belgian visual artist Hans Op de Beeck to bring their unique perspective on the museum’s collection of photo prints by the celebrated Luxembourgish Photographer Edward Steichen. Lis Hausemer, assistant curator of the exhibition joined Tom on the Breakfast Show this morning to talk to us about it. Edward Steichen was born in Luxembourg in 1879. After emigrating to the USA at a young age, Steichen went on to become photographer, painter, and curator, renowned as one of the most prolific and influential figures in the history of photography. The MNHA possesses a large collection of Edward Steichen prints that were gifted to the museum after the photographers death.     KJT (Kanner-Jugendtelefon) is a counselling service for children, young people and parents in Luxembourg. They provide telephone counselling and online counselling via email and messaging, anonymously and free of charge, thanks to the work of trained volunteers. Carmen Weyer and Linn Frank from KJT joined Tom on The Breakfast Show this morning to talk about the work that the organization does and to share an open call for new volunteers KJT are currently recruiting new volunteers for the english language online help service. New volunteers will undergo a 70 hour training course that will begin in May. Suitable volunteers include anybody that is interested in helping children, adolescents and young adults as well as in psychological or pedagogical topics. The Green party proposed this debate on citizen participation in political decision-making. The debate will be initiated by François Benoy who is also a Mayoral candidate for Luxembourg City. Currently citizens in Luxembourg can take part in the political decision making process by presenting petitions to parliament. In order to be considered in parliament a petition needs to receive 4.500 signatures. Alternatively, The government has trialled citizens’ council for a few topics.
